ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

A lover of literature, voracious reader and with a fiery passion for writing, Arvind Narsima has come a very long way to become an author appreciated by both readers and the critics. He differs from the other contemporary authors as his works depict, on large, all the socio and economical atrocities happening in the society with a keen observation to details. He loves to write adventures, mysteries, and thrillers. He reads Robert Ludlum, Clive Cussler, John Grisham, Tom Claney, Chetan Bhagat, Ashwin Sanghi and Amish Tripati. Other than reading and writing, he loves to cook and paint. Arvind Narsima lives in the beautiful city of Pondicherry with his mother, wife, and daughter.

ABOUT THE BOOK:

A politically driven criminal syndicate tries to steal a valuable ancient artifact, The Aravan Head, from a very old temple of the transgenders in Hijravan. Police officer Arya foils the well-planned attempt. The incident unfolds a deadly secret that connects to a series of mind-boggling crimes which points to an unlikely person of tremendous authority in the political & business circles of Mumbai. With his friends kidnapped, his own people involved with the criminals and himself facing a departmental enquiry. Arya is strangulated from all sides. Meanwhile, in Delhi, 4 college girls, fed-up with the canteen food, hire a cook. While they expect an old, typically professional person, they are in for a great surprise that leaves them sweetly shocked. But the surprise is short lived after a beautiful transgender arrives at their bungalow revealing secrets that baffle them. Unfortunately, the lives of the 4 girls become a nightmare along with that of the transgender.

REVIEW:

Wahid denied. "No Janab, I can't do that. They will kill you."
"Do as I say, Wahid." Arya shouted.

The Aravan Head is a MINDBLOWING book which will keep you engrossed to the story with Action, Drama, Thriller & Love. It's like watching a South Indian action film with very strong characters and top level plot. I would love to see this book converted into a South Indian action film.

Talking about the plot of the book, it is totally unpredictable and full of action. It begins with three mysterious incidents taking place in different locations and different timings, but all three incidents had some interconnected links.

The entire book revolves around 'The Aravan Head' which is believed to cure disease and is also a patron god of well-known transgender communities. The story moves on a past-present mode with one chapter narrating about the past events and the other one narrating about the present events. This is what makes the book even more mysterious.

Halfway down, the story looked very confusing. You try to connect the dots, but everything looked unclear. But soon, a twist turns the tables of the entire story and everything starts to get in place. I was totally shocked with the unexpected turn in the story. Each chapter is a piece of jigsaw puzzle, when you combine them together, it becomes a complete puzzle.

What I liked most about the book, was the characterization. There are multiple characters in the story and each one of them holds an importance. But I liked the character of Arya the most. A top cop who talks less and shoots more. This is what the Indian book industry needs. More Action, less nonsense.

On the other hand, the language used in the book is also very good and sets the tone with classy dialogues and strong characters. The book also talks about multiple social topics without deviating from the main story which I think was amazing!

Overall, I loved the book and would like to suggest it to everyone who loves to read thriller. I won't be surprised if this book hits the BestSeller list. So, go ahead and buy this book from Amazon now!
